Pearls took the spring-summer 2024 catwalks by storm, as well as the streets and red carpets. From New York to Cannes, the cultured pearl is A-DO-RED!!!!

A favourite jewel of French women, pearls were everywhere on the spring-summer 2024 catwalks, from New York to Paris by way of London and Milan. They were spotted at Givenchy, among others. Precious details set the rhythm of the collection presented by Matthew M. Williams, the artistic director of the French fashion house. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings… so many pieces set with large, perfectly shaped pearls.

In Cannes, the red carpet welcomes the greatest stars of cinema:

Cate Blanchett, the Australian-American actress, wore a Louis Vuitton necklace made from recycled metal, 49 Akoya cultured pearls and 33 grey Tahitian cultured pearls, along with 633 diamonds taken from three earlier creations by the high jewellery department of Louis Vuitton.

Kelly Rowland, in Tasaki:

Kelly Rowland is an American singer, dancer, songwriter, actress and television personality. Kelly Rowland rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of the group Destiny's Child, with whom she sold 60 million records.

She wore Tasaki's Corset necklace in baby Akoya pearls and diamonds on the red carpet for the film The Count of Monte Cristo at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

Isabeli Fontana, the internationally renowned Brazilian model known for her appearances in the Victoria’s Secret shows and her campaigns for brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton, lit up the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival wearing the sublime Mozi and La Belle brooches, created by Elsa Jin, for a confident elegance and a nod to Chinese cultural heritage with their Tahitian cultured pearls and dazzling gemstones.
